Feeding difficulties or how to care for a fussy eater?
I can provide excellent feeding intervention and help families reach the next step for better meal times.
"Feeding issues come in many different packages; generally we categorize these as oral-motor, sensory aversion, medical or behavioral needs. Oral-motor problems are those which deal with moving and coordinating the muscle movements for eating. Sensory aversions are over-reactions to certain textures, tastes, smells or temperatures. Medical feeding problems may result from different diagnosis. Each of these categories comes with behaviors that can make meal times very unpleasant for a family. More often than not a combination of these factors are present and require dynamic feeding intervention. "

What is logotherapy?
"Viktor E. Frankl, Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the University of Vienna Medical School, spent three years during World War II in concentration camps, where he formulated many of his key ideas, of which Logotherapy, founded on the belief that striving to find meaning in life is the most powerful motivation for human beings."
Staring at the sun
Irvin David Yalom, M.D., is an author of fiction and nonfiction, Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University, an existentialist, and accomplished psychotherapist.
"Organized around what Yalom identifies as the four “ultimate concerns of life”—death, freedom, existential isolation, and meaninglessness—the book takes up the meaning of each existential concern and the type of conflict that springs from our confrontation with each. He shows how these concerns are manifested in personality and psychopathology, and how treatment can be helped by our knowledge of them."
